    THE THINGS ABOUT ME

     My name is Aybiçe Sadet Nurcan. I am 22 years old. I study in undergraduate program in mathematics education. It's my 7th semester in Boğaziçi University. I love science-fiction and fantastic universes. My favourite fantasy book series are The Earthsea cycle. Also, Harry Potter books are one of the best thing in my childhood. My favourite science fiction movie series are Star Wars Series. I love the old ones, first 6 episodes. I hate new movies. Moreover I love reading comic books. X-men comics are my favourite ones. I love the heroes and stories in this team.
    As a new hobby, I am interested in art and independent movies. My favourite directors are Ingmar Bergman and Michael Haneke.

Week 6 In Tuesday, we talked about differentiation between variability, variation and variance Variability: değişebilirlik : the level of variation in data set : uncountable : there is no such value Variation: değişkenlik : amount of the change Variance: değişim : change from a situation to situation They sound so similar but there are differences between them. Week 5 This week we started probability and statistics. We talked about random events on Thursday. It was a different lesson for me because I learned that the events I thought were random events were not random. In every case we said, there were actually other factors that affected it. This course was an interesting start for me. So I'm excited for other probability and statistics courses.
