First Class Journey

In Tuesday’s lesson, firstly we talked about meaning of algebra. Algebra is very familiar term for us. We usually use this term our mathematics class. I know about algebra, it’s content. However I can not answer “what is the meaning of algebra”. I know what it is but saying it in a sentences is quite difficult.
Moreover, We talked about history of mathematics. We discuss why did people created mathematics ? The main idea about this question is that earth and life is very complicated for people. In old years, meaning of life and understanding of complicated universe is more difficult for people. So, when they tried to understand earth, their environment they created math.
Last part of the class, we talked about geogebra. I did not too much thing but I think geogebra is an interesting and useful tool. I am happy to learn using this tool.

Week 5 This week we started probability and statistics. We talked about random events on Thursday. It was a different lesson for me because I learned that the events I thought were random events were not random. In every case we said, there were actually other factors that affected it. This course was an interesting start for me. So I'm excited for other probability and statistics courses.
